Hi everyone,
1. Below is the link to the documentary "Please Vote for Me" that we watched during our last class. Please watch the end of the documentary (we had about 15 minutes left). Video can be found here: https://vimeo.com/373933 2. Once you've finished the documentary please make sure that you have completed your movie worksheet. You can also refer to the link and rewatch certain parts (or talk to your friends) to make sure its completed. This will help you with your written assignment. 3. Your written assignment outline can be found on the button below. Please note the timeline on the second page. As the end of term is coming up (so sad!) you are expected to follow this outline - as we won't have anytime for extensions! 4. Please make a note in your phone that you will have a government unit test next Thursday! Have a productive this class! - Ms.Clayton

A reminder of what we have gone over in class this week... - We completed our examination of BC labour history & and also looked at major labour events in Canada including the Winnipeg General Strike. - We shifted gears and began researching the primary resources of British Columbia - both historically and presently (Fishing, Forestry and Mining). You were split into groups where you read through sources and examined pictures. We then presented our findings to the class. - Last class, we took this information and we went to the library where you began your "post card" writing assignment on one of these resources. Your expected to give background information on your resources, the advantages/disadvantages of the resource. Next week we will be discussing writing and citing strategies to include in your writing work and begin looking more deeply at immigration history to BC. Have a good weekend. Hi everyone,
