In addition, you were asked to examine the following problem: How does Brasil generate more power for themselves without compromising the Amazon Rainforest ecosystem and cultures that live there?
You were given a case study sheet focusing on the Great Bear rainforest. You are expected to read and review the CBC article and access the Great Bear Rainforest Simulation activity.

This week we discussed rising sea levels and how they impact us on a local and global level. You also completed your climate change current event article summary and facilitated and participated in small group discussions covering a vast range of topics that were based on your own interest. We ended the week with a lesson on tornado`s and hurricanes.
