Hi everyone,
To help with your written reflections, I've posted the power points from class below. Please feel free to refer to them as you see fit! Your readings will provide substantial information as well. Please cite them appropriately.  The assignment outline is just below as well.

Best,
Ms.Clayton

These prompts are here to help guide you - not necessarily be the focus of your assignment.  You’re invited to make connections to the intersections of  race and gender, but please ensure that you connect your reflection to at least  3 readings/class discussions that we have focused on regarding class. You are welcome to make personal connections to the material as well.

Worth 20 marks.

Writing Prompts:
1. What is your first memory of someone with more or less class privilege than you?

2. How has your class background influenced your life?

3. How is institutional classism perpetuated in Canada? How does this differ than in Europe of the USA? What problems does this cause?

4. What does classism look and feel like at Moscrop? How is it perpetuated by students and the school community? What can we do to challenge this?
